WET FLOOR BIO:
This band was formed sometime in 2003 and originated with Dennis Quann, Lanny Cox, and Scot Snook and was called "Reborn".
Then, we had a gig at a school Leadership Conference and since the band only contained lead and rhythm guitar along with drums, we needed a bassist. So, we got Adam Quann to play bass for us, and since he didn't have a bass, he learned how to play a left-handed bass since Lanny's bass and all of his guitars are left-handed.
At the show, Lanny Cox tells the group that "Reborn" is the name of a Christian-Rock group and we started brainstorming a new name. The name "Wet Floor" was chosen as there were "Caution: Wet Floor" signs lying about.
At the show, we played "Coming Clean" by Green Day, "Shades Of Truth" by Bad Religion and "I Wanna Be Sedated" by The Ramones. The last song got a huge response and has since become our most popular song.
We then played at a school talent show and performed "California Sun" by The Ramones, "Pulling Teeth" by Green Day, "Blitzkreig Bop" by The Ramones and then did "I Wanna Be Sedated" at request of an encore.
Our next gig came at the last day of school where we opened the closing ceremonies with "I Fought The Law" Green Day's version, and "Rock and Roll High School" by The Ramones.
Since then, we've added several songs, as we try to diverge from the punk rock scene. Our current song list includes:
Bad Religion - Shades of Truth
Bad Religion - Los Angeles Is Burning
Bad Religion - Along The Way
Green Day - Coming Clean
Green Day - Pulling Teeth
Green Day - I Fought The Law
Green Day - Scattered
The Ramones - California Sun
The Ramones - Rock and Roll High School
The Ramones - Blitzkreig Bop
The Ramones - I Wanna Be Sedated
Killjoys - Soaked
Sloan - Rest Of My Life
Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
The Strokes - 12 51
